The Quiet Earth Reviewed
Tom Huddleston at Not Coming to a Theater Near you has written a great review of a movie I've been waiting for forever to come out on DVD: The Quiet Earth. It's one of the best end-of-the-world movies I've seen, and one of the most underrated films of the 80s. There's some pretty significant spoilers in the review though, so if you want to go into the movie fresh, you might want to bookmark it for later reading.

Hi there, i stumbled on to your site because i was searching for the word film in Google and up came a weird video case, anyway i loved to look of that film "The Quiet Earth" what a picture, i didn’t read the article on it because as you said it gives allot away, and i hear you had some tough comments from a fellow film maker? ah well such is life, i liked the star wars analogy. is the film "The Quiet Earth" a new remake of an old film? Oh by the way you and your site remind me of Dawson off of Dawson’s Creek, which is a complement :)
