Inquiry into Pasolini murder reopened
As the BBC reports, investigators in Rome have reopened the inquiry into the 1975 murder of director Pier Paolo Pasolini. This comes after new statements made by the man imprisoned for nine years for the murder as well as those by a close former aide. Rumors abounded in Italy at the time that the murder was politically motivated, due to the director's Marxist leanings, but this was never proven. - via Masters of Cinema
