Upcoming Warner Films on DVD
Warner Home Video has announced a ton of catalog titles coming to DVD in the next two years. Masters of Cinema has compiled a list of some of the highlights. Some especially notable ones are restored versions of John Ford's The Searchers and Stagecoach, a number of film noir titles coming this July including Out Of The Past (Tourneur, 1947); The Set-Up (Wise, 1949) commentary by Wise and Scorsese (!!!); Asphalt Jungle (Huston. 1950); Gun Crazy (Lewis, 1950); and Murder, My Sweet (Dmytryk, 1944), a box set of classic WB gangster films, Jacques Tourner's Cat People, among many others. Better start saving up now.
